Best build quality

The build quality of many quick couplings leaves a lot to be desired. Many of the laces that attach the connector to the camera are flimsy. Too thin to carry a $1,000, $2,000, or $3,000 camera body and lens. The quick-release Uni-Loop system costs $15. I am willing to pay insurance.

Goes well with other OP/TECH accessories

I attach these to my DSLR and to the front straps of my backpack so I can easily attach the camera to my backpack. I usually hang the camera by one clip, but I use two clips (one on each side of the camera) when I don't want the camera swinging too much when walking/jogging when the camera is not in use.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • No car

Not as durable as expected.

I already have a chest/shoulder strap for two cameras. I received 2 sets of these to add another camera in another location. Loops/belt clips were supplied with metal safety wire straps in nylon loops. Unfortunately, these "extra" loops do NOT have a metal safety wire in their core, so I'm afraid they aren't as secure as they should be.

  • High-quality workmanship

  • Annoyed

I used a BlackRapid FR-T1 Fastenr instead of the original.

I used a BlackRapid FR-T1 buckle to replace the original screw on a Manfrotto 200PL quick release plate. This allows me to switch between strap and tripod without having to remove the plate. I needed extra grid security in case of (my) human error or component failure and these Op/Tech Uni-Loop connectors worked great for that purpose, being robust yet compact enough.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Damaged

I bought these to use with the Nikon D5100. I bought the Tamrac N45 Black Leather Padded QuickRelease Camera Strap (black) and they fit perfectly. The loops are a bit small but they work well, they're just a little difficult to put on and take off which shouldn't happen that often. Importantly, you can purchase the OP/TECH USA System Connectors 1301012 (Uni Adapter Loop) - Additional Connectors for OP/TECH USA Belts with Quick Connectors for $1 more and come with these belts and additional…

Great if you have more cameras than OP/Tech camera straps.

I often carry a heavy Nikon camera/telephoto lens combo and use the OP/Tech strap to secure the camera. The camera is usually attached to a cotton holder, but I almost lost the camera when rotating it to its original position. I also carry a second lightweight combo camera lens and can move the mount to that camera with a couple of universal straps attached. I put Uni-Loops on all my cameras and attach OP-Tech camera straps to the strap depending on the strap I use. Several times I avoided…

The Optech system is extremely versatile

I bought these to use with the OP/TECH USA 1001062 Super Classic harness. The Op/Tech system allows you to use one strap with many gadgets. The build quality is excellent. The material that makes up the plugs isn't so brittle that it's easy to break, but also not so flexible that you could accidentally loosen the plug. The hinge material is strong enough to withstand a DSLR or Film SLR even with a heavy lens. I also use Uni-Loop connectors with the Opteka Professional Wrist Grip Strap. The only

Where have you been? I'm glad I found you!

I'm someone who doesn't usually take the time to write a bad review. So my only ratings are usually four starts or better. Well, with this product, as soon as I received it I was wondering why it took so long to get it. I often carry my camera with me. Eventually in a few hours I'll be down a few pounds by the next and not be taking any photos. I just don't want to miss this special shot. I tried several camera strap systems as I sometimes get neck and shoulder pain and I knew there had to be a
