Review on Razer Blade 14 Gaming Laptop by Joseph Hill

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Gold Standard

I was weighing my options between buying a full desktop PC and this Razer. No other laptop even had my thoughts. I work in technology as a sr. Engineer, and what attracted me to it was the apple-like quality. Well now that I have this Razer I can confirm that everything they say is true. Pros: 1) The packaging is mostly unremarkable (you can still tell it's a PC). There is no indication that this is a high-end gaming PC. 2) The inner packaging is well protected and divided into compartments. Everything was packed with the utmost care. 3) The appearance of the device and peripherals was/remains impeccable. 4) The performance is actually good enough that I won't buy a gaming PC for a few years. Instead, I grab a USB-C dock and, if necessary, a Razer eGPU. In fact, I guess setting up the Egpu with this process would be a great combo as the heat from the iGPU would be transferred to the external device. and pyscho), including ray tracing, averaging 30-45 fps at native resolution. However, in the world of esports, this is impractical (but then again, esports games are not played on Ultra). Setting the resolution to 1080 adds about 30 frames and toggles ray tracing to medium with balanced DLS, and you can go over 100fps in games like Cyberpunk 2077. However, I prefer to play with my ultra plush eye settings rpg-fps 30 fps is very playable, especially with G-sync built in! Honestly, Reiser did it. They got the board game fanatic to buy their tiny awesome gaming laptop and I applaud Razer for everything they've done since this laptop came out.
