Review on Henry Clemmies All Weather Jacket X Small by Jimmy Hargrove

I love this jacket and would give it 5 stars but the size is too big. I bought one from a 'famous brands for less money' store and now I'm thinking it's probably a size S for my 12 lb chihuahua mix (size isn't listed on the jacket itself) and it is a great little rain jacket - it looks good and, with a high flap at the neck, it does an excellent job of keeping you dry up to the ears. I recently adopted a 9 lb Chihuahua and was looking to get him a jacket to match - the one I have is a bit big for him. The description (and product packaging) says XS is for 10-18 lb dogs and S is for 15-25 lb dogs, so I ordered XS. I figured if it was the same as the one I already had then everything would be fine and if it was smaller then it would be perfect - I couldn't imagine it wouldn't fit at all but I could he didn't even fasten the neck straps around his neck and they only covered about 2/3 of his back. I have attached a size chart that I found online which gives a much more accurate idea of the measurements. It's also worth noting that the length of the jacket increases in 4-inch increments - that's a big jump if you're going from XS to S. I think the XS would probably fit a toy in the 5-7lb range, but that would be overkill. big for a small teacup. And size S fits small dogs up to 25 pounds. But for a 9-10 pound dog, neither of these probably fit very well. I can hardly use size S for my 9 lb dog because he has a long body but it fits loosely around his chest. The length is perfect for my 12 lb dog and fits his chest in the tightest position with velcro. I want them to make one 10 inches long. .
