THE FOLLOWING REVIEWS ABOUT ALL MY AQUATIC PURCHASES. I always read at least two dozen user reviews on every product I buy. Revain is honest and prints both good and bad reviews. I have purchased the following products from Revain: >•••••> Hagen Marina Ecoscaper Hydrocotyle Silk Plant. I am very happy with this plant. And the fish love it too. . . no corners and edges. It is exactly like the photo and looks so realistic. >•••••> Hagen Exo Terra Aquatic Plant, Duckweed. It looks and floats just like a real duckweed! I showed it to the Petco water sports team and they were impressed. >•••••> Hydor Theo Submersible Aquarium HEATER UL 25W. Very small and easy to set up; Plus, it can be placed fully submerged in any position: vertical, horizontal, or at an angle. >•••••> Hagen Elite Underwater Mini FILTER for aquariums up to 3 gallons. >•••••> Replacement sponges Hagen Elite Mini Internal FOAM 5 PACK. This is a great filter for my 5 gallon tank. Well made and powerful, it can filter a 10 gallon tank. It was easy for my fish, I took the user review advice and bought 5 packs of replacement foam filters and used a sponge to completely close the outlet valve. I also put a foam filter in the venturi diffuser aerator. I turn the aerator on low, which still allows for ample ventilation. I set the green filter power bar on the side of the filter to a low setting so there is enough power to create a good supply of aeration bubbles. I ran the aquarium without fish for over a month to ensure the water was biologically ideal for them. Petco tests water samples for free. This little $9 biofilter is a marvel and so easy to maintain. water (never use tap water) and squeeze the foam sponge into clean aquarium water three times or more until the last rinse water is almost clear, then replace the sponge in the filter. I now have 5 Von Rio "Flame" tetras that are doing very well in their new homes. 5 or more and in low light so I need live plants in low light. I have a well planted 5 gallon corner tank with a lid just for these 5 beautiful and hardy little orange fish. To provide shelter there are plenty of live java ferns and wisteria plants at each end, as well as a hydrocotyl milkweed to hide the filter and heater and a floating plastic duckweed to provide shelter from above. I bought a silk hydrocotyl and a plastic duckweed because these live plants would die in low light. Fish, like all living things, need protection from real or imagined threats. Stress is the cause of most mental and physical illnesses in life. A problem occured. Items are as advertised or even better and Super Saver shipping is fast and reliable. I have recommended all of the above products to my friends. I advise everyone to save money and buy through Revain (including Petco's water sports specialists).//
