I used this to install a Yamaha soundbar on a 43 inch LG TV. It worked and looked pretty good. just sits on the stand. With these brackets, the soundbar speakers are now facing you. You can adjust the mounts and bar fairly easily, but I took the easy way out. I just made sure the angle of the brackets matched the angle of the TV. I then simply screwed the soundbar onto the full extension brackets in the slot of my choice to allow for height adjustment. This ensured the Thr bar was flush with the TV and centered edge to edge. I have a distance of about 1 inch from the TV to the soundbar, but that was easier than measuring a lot to get a flush view. And it looks really good, just a little gap. screwed it on and plugged it into the back of the soundbar. In terms of weight, these mounts are pretty heavy for their size. I was surprised. I'm sure they will last 20 feet as advertised with no problem. The Yamaha handlebar I have is quite heavy as it includes a subwoofer. These mounts hold the handlebars and brackets with no issues and they don't bend or flex when I mount them. Just take a few minutes and use the spacers provided. Be creative and these brackets work great. If you can't find a way to screw the screws to the soundbar itself, find threaded screws with small teeth on the outside and see if they fit into the wall-mounting holes. From then on it will be okay.
