I am 24 years old. As a teenager, I took retinols and used sunscreen. While this standard combo is the standard for healthy, youthful-looking skin over the long term, retinols and sunscreen don't really do anything to reduce facial expressions. No way am I going to do Botox. Apparently, Matrixyl and Argireline, when used at high enough concentrations, can eventually (gently) paralyze (temporarily of course!) the area you've applied them to. I apply a SMALL drop to my forehead, around my eyes and smile lines, and under the corners of my lips. A little goes a long way and I only do it at night. I have to say that the second week I had fewer wrinkles than usual. The peptides also help to moisturize the skin. I see this combination has the potential to magnify any thin line area. For those who have noticed small pimples, I doubt these are real pimples. It contains polysorbate-20, which is a known trigger for fungal acne. Use with caution if you think you're sensitive to fungal acne, but I've heard ketoconazole shampoo can help. I like that it has no smell. I will repeat my purchase :) I really thought it was a fad. Now I firmly believe in peptides!
