This remote worked well right out of the box, no problems. so that part was impressive. BUT. and that's a big but. It has one serious drawback if you're buying it for US use. It has a special non-reprogrammable button for RakutenTV. This streaming service is not available in the US. It's driving me insane that I can't associate this button with any other streaming service. I would send the block back but other than that it works perfectly. I'll probably toss it in my desk drawer for use as an emergency backup. Good thing: Worked right away on my 75" Samsung SmartTV. Very good price. Bad thing: Completely useless RakutenTV button that I can't seem to stop if I accidentally press it
