Those were great first ear studs for my cartilage piercing. I like that they come in a set and there are different sizes. The largest size is really too big for a cartilage piercing on the helix but the other two are great. I especially like the smallest size. Some of them were difficult to unscrew at first. I recommend taking a thick rubber band and using it as a finger grip to unscrew them if it happens. Otherwise they are great. The 6mm rod is great for gristle, but if it's still very swollen it may not work at first. I couldn't wear them when my ear was swollen for some reason. When my ear is absolutely not swollen they are longer than I like for work because I prefer a snug fit on my ear. But if that doesn't bother you, or you have thicker cartilage (mine is thin), this will likely work for you.
