Obviously this works great. Otherwise, my car may not run and the check engine light stays on. Pretty easy to install - better than a pro mechanic and you can find out how on YouTube. One recommendation: when you take the old thermostat out, it's full of coolant (basically draining your coolant. Well, it has to go somewhere. I put a piece of tinfoil under the thermostat (on top of the alternator) and place a baking sheet under the car to catch the coolant drain. Done, change the coolant, start your car and then refill it as it will take time to fill the system. Good luck!
