We don't have a garage so we bought one to store our bikes and some other small things to protect them from the weather. We live in a coastal California town and bikes rust quickly if left parked in the morning dew every day. We were pleasantly surprised with the space in this tent - we have room for two adult bikes, a kids bike, a couple of scooters, a large ice box and lots of random kids toys, and we still have plenty of room to add more. However, we just had a downpour and the next day there were unfortunately quite large puddles in the tent. Overall we are happy with this purchase but I would like to add a note for others that it is certainly water resistant but I am not sure I would call it "water resistant".
