Exfoliate lips before application. I apply 3 thin layers of paint and let them dry well in between. Then add a top coat. So it lasts just as long as LipSense, but at a fraction of the price and without the iconic irritations. I have full, dry lips. We live in a cold and dry climate, which can make a difference. I've never had bleeding issues with lip products like some do, so I can't confirm that. I didn't have that problem with this product either. Dries slightly, which can cause vertical wrinkles on the inside of the lips even after the peeling with full lips. Some of the chapstick helps, but not entirely in my case. Sometimes I apply a layer of my favorite sticky lipstick on top and it helps fill in the cracks. With or without Plumper it stays with me all day. I like to wear lipsticks from different brands/products but this is my favorite item and I always stock up when it's on sale.
