This thing worked great when I sprained my knee and did exactly what it says. He supported my knee while it healed, and his resistance mostly served as a reminder that I shouldn't use my knee more than absolutely necessary. This is NOT intended for long-term support. If you need long-term support, you either need surgery or medical braces, which it isn't and doesn't claim to be. But it was strong enough for me and held up ok and if I ever hurt my knee again and needed it I would buy it again!
