First off, the comments about how difficult it is to set up are precise and a bit dramatic. This is a skill challenge. It is not intended to be moved frequently. The bars are tricky to align and connect properly, but considering they don't need to be removed frequently, that's a minor issue. If you travel or shoot on location, you'd better get the Aputure version. The build quality and details are by no means at the level of the Aputure softboxes. The biggest difference I noticed is that the Godox softbox blocks a significant amount of light due to the staff and medal in the center. I have 3 Godox lights, the reduction in light output is noticeable with this kit. The positive difference is that the overall depth is significantly shallower, which is great for tight spaces. The Aputure equivalent is outrageously large and takes up more space.
