Amazing high quality softbox!

I bought 2 of these softboxes and am very happy with them. The softness of the light is amazing, especially when double diffused. The softboxes I bought came with a second cone and honeycomb. It takes a while to set up at first, but one day I watched the setup tutorial and got the hang of it. Outside the studio for filming on location they are huge for the size to carry around, set up/disassemble but I still take them with me and use them. I'd definitely buy another one if I had one too, but…

Big modifier for big soft light

I use this modifier on my Godox Sl-200 and couldn't be happier. This kit does not come with a ZERO instruction manual, so it took a lot of general faith to figure out exactly how to put it together. The preferred dual diffusion and mesh option really takes your lighting options to the next level. The included carry case is great, but it would really help to have some sort of strap or handle. It's huge, almost as deep as it is tall. Overall very happy with the build, quality and ease of use of…

Great softbox after assembly.

Very nice soft box. My only gripe with this is that it's a giant softbox that takes 10 minutes to install with practice. I love having these softboxes set out at all times and when I do it's a great tool for my flashes and lights. The mesh focuses the light clearly and the packaging is amazing for the price if you don't want to put a huge "NEEWER" banner on the side of your softboxes. I use Godox flashes and strobes, spent the extra money on a well known brand and love the quality. I wish it…

Assembling is not difficult but requires patience.

You will find that the various loops, particularly the first and last pair on the outer edge of the fabric umbrella, will need to be stripped before attempting to insert the umbrella spokes. Trying to use the needles alone to open the stitches is frustrating. Instead, open the stitches with the tool before inserting the needles. Do not use sharp objects, otherwise you will most likely poke a hole in the fabric of the shade. I have a Phillips screwdriver. Prick each st to spread the sides of the

Not as good as the Aputure counterpart.

First off, the comments about how difficult it is to set up are precise and a bit dramatic. This is a skill challenge. It is not intended to be moved frequently. The bars are tricky to align and connect properly, but considering they don't need to be removed frequently, that's a minor issue. If you travel or shoot on location, you'd better get the Aputure version. The build quality and details are by no means at the level of the Aputure softboxes. The biggest difference I noticed is that the…

Good product - installation is a pain

If you've never assembled something like this you're in trouble because it doesn't come with instructions. This is a headache. Remove the main reflective material and smooth each seam. With the new product, the first loops that each spoke of the umbrella has to go through are initially hidden in the seams of the fabric. This is the first loop, the white velcro loop is the second, and the end of the needle goes into each end where the black velcro is. The end slots are tight - sometimes you have
