I like the smaller size of the T2 compared to many other brushes. The bristles are long and stiff enough to easily lather soap or cream, but they're not so big and flexible that they're difficult to apply without sticking them in your nose or ears. I have badger, boar and horse brushes but I think I prefer good synthetics although I have others that are a bit softer than T2 but have a larger knot. They're not exactly cheap, but they're a lot cheaper than a lot of Simpson's models and I'm glad I bought mine.
