Description of 🪒 Synthetic Shaving Brush - Trafalgar Series by Alexander Simpson - Faux Ivory Handle (T3)

Scotsman Alexander Simpson started production of shaving brushes and male grooming ancillaries in 1919 and is widely regarded as a pioneer in the industry. Manufacturing was originally based in the East end of London but later in Clapham. Today Simpson shaving brushes and associated products are manufactured by Progress Shaving Brush (Vulfix) Limited on the historic Isle of Man. They continue to be produced in the traditional way using hand tied knots by time served, skilled workers. The Trafalgar is the latest offering from our new line of Alexander Simpson Est. 1919 shaving brushes. This superbly crafted & eye catching lathe turned handle is filled with our uniquely sourced Sovereign grade synthetic fibre. Measurements: Brush Height 100mm, Handle Height 50mm, Knot Loft 50mm, Knot Diameter 26mm. Today we are perhaps the only remaining manufacturer of genuinely hand-made shaving brushes within Great Britain and the British Isles. Our extensive range of products in a large variety of styles & materials make Simpson the number one choice when selecting your next brush.

Very good shaving brush and pet friendly!

After years of only shaving with an electric razor, I recently went back to shaving with a traditional (cartridge, but still old school) razor. To be honest, electric shavers are so good now, they shave closer and without scratches or cuts for me. However, there is something very nice about shaving with a real razor and shaving cream. I also opted for a traditional shaving cream (Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood is great!) so I wanted a shaving brush to maximize the pleasure of an…

The softest shaving brush I own

When I run it over my skin, it feels like a cotton swab. It didn't irritate me at all, which is great. My own regrowing mustache can cause redness as new hairs poke through the skin around it. Washing your hands too often can cause allergic reactions. Putting my face to my hand leaves a red mark that lasts for several minutes. If you scratch my back it looks like I've been whipped. However, this brush doesn't irritate my skin, which reacts to almost everything else. I recommend it to anyone…

Incredibly good.: Shaving and hair remover

Amazing performance. I had no idea a synthetic brush could be this good. I needed a synthetic scrub brush and it fitted perfectly. Amazing feel, builds voluminous lather, holds more water after squeezing than any of my other brushes when wet. Out of the box, this was my favorite on first try. Take it!

Simpson Trafalgar T2 Shaving Brush

I like the smaller size of the T2 compared to many other brushes. The bristles are long and stiff enough to easily lather soap or cream, but they're not so big and flexible that they're difficult to apply without sticking them in your nose or ears. I have badger, boar and horse brushes but I think I prefer good synthetics although I have others that are a bit softer than T2 but have a larger knot. They're not exactly cheap, but they're a lot cheaper than a lot of Simpson's models and I'm glad I

Tralala for Trafalgar

This is my first Simpsons brush. I was never interested in buying an expensive Simpson natural bristle brush. When the Simpson synthetic brushes came out, the positive reviews made me look to Revain for one. The synthetic Simpson T2 was priced too well to pass up. This is a good shaving brush that is easy to load and has a good lather base on the face. Synthetic brushes are my favorites and the Simpson T2 is a nice addition to my shaving brush collection.

Excellent Buy both quality and special. for money

Before that I only used badger hair shaving brushes. I bought it based on the reviews and was not disappointed. It's a lot cheaper (almost half the price) than any good quality badger brush, but the quality is much better. My rating refers to the one-time use and I am convinced of it. Let's see how it behaves over time. It uses a lot less soap (those who use expensive shaving soaps will be very pleased) and much better and tighter skin without much effort. I have to soak the badger hairbrush in

Great value for money

I've been using a wet shave/DE and brush for over 10 years. This is my honest review of the T3 after 12+ shaves. I've used the best badger hair brush before so I'll compare it to that and this is my first synthetic brush. I will say that the brush tips are much softer than my best badger. The size came out bigger than expected so be sure to check the size. As a lather, I usually use a mild soap. I have a small metal shaving bowl. I had time to get a decent lather with the bowl, I had more…
