After years of only shaving with an electric razor, I recently went back to shaving with a traditional (cartridge, but still old school) razor. To be honest, electric shavers are so good now, they shave closer and without scratches or cuts for me. However, there is something very nice about shaving with a real razor and shaving cream. I also opted for a traditional shaving cream (Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood is great!) so I wanted a shaving brush to maximize the pleasure of an old-school shave. This is a really great brush. It's synthetic but very soft and gives really great lather and a better shave the first time you use it. Also very good quality. I bought the smallest size thinking it would be easiest to work with mustache etc. Compared to the best badger hair brushes, it's 50-80+% cheaper and works really great for me. Very happy with my decision.
