When I run it over my skin, it feels like a cotton swab. It didn't irritate me at all, which is great. My own regrowing mustache can cause redness as new hairs poke through the skin around it. Washing your hands too often can cause allergic reactions. Putting my face to my hand leaves a red mark that lasts for several minutes. If you scratch my back it looks like I've been whipped. However, this brush doesn't irritate my skin, which reacts to almost everything else. I recommend it to anyone with reactive skin who still wants a quality shaving accessory.
