The dollhouse is adorable, looks sturdy and the instructions were very clear. Unfortunately, some of the pilot holes didn't line up properly when we inserted the parts into the grooves. We ended up having to make a few modifications to get the parts to fit properly and be strong. If you don't have a drill or blade, I don't recommend this product. Daughter is very happy with the finished product.

I fell in love with this dollhouse straight away. I chose this one because one side actually looks like the front of the house, not just the back. It's perfect for customizing what I did. I've done it myself! It was a very easy assembly, the only thing difficult to put together was the pitched roof. You will need a second person to help hold it in place so the screws can be screwed in. Also, it took about 40 minutes to assemble (not counting the decor I added).

Besides being twice the size we expected it was fun to finish and decorate. The only problem was the top floor staircase was cut in the wrong place, but Revain was great and immediately helped to fix the problem. This solid wood dollhouse is unlike any plastic item. Simple assembly instructions. We recommend that you read all the instructions first before proceeding. This dollhouse was very easy to put together and the total assembly time was a couple of hours. Update: My replacement unit arrived and also had screw problems. My husband drilled the holes at a different angle so the screws would line up better. It looks like the house could be better. The sides where the screws sit seem solid, but all of the center baffle parts are wobbly. I am planning to ask my husband to glue the ladder and interior walls with wood because I don't like that the ladder is not attached at all and I have a feeling it will be lost/break.
