Review on Exploring the Melissa & Doug Multi-Level Dollhouse Dollhouses: A Step-By-Step Tour! by Greg Bellman

4 year old loves it!

I read the reviews and hesitated but we NEVER had a problem with Melissa and Doug's toys - thought I'd need a husband to put them together but I have everything myself did! (And I'm a 74-year-old great-grandmother!). The instructions are clear and well illustrated. I used a knitting needle to line up the holes for the roof as I've read others here have encountered problems - and it worked like a charm (I'm not even sure I actually had to do this). Our 4 year old great grandfather asks to come to Gigi's house to play with him. Although we bought extra furniture (and I sewed the bedding and rugs), it contains enough items for her to play with once it's built. I will say I don't think it will hold up when the kids climb it but it is strong enough for her to lean on to put pieces in (the roof is slanted and I don't think that would fit) . good for much younger kids) - and I've moved it up and down the stairs a few times and it's just as strong now as it was when I first assembled it. Great value for money (wooden dollhouses of this size are usually much more expensive).

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • So far so good
