Review on Exploring the Melissa & Doug Multi-Level Dollhouse Dollhouses: A Step-By-Step Tour! by Brian Faxon

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A solid dollhouse for the price. perfect size

Decent dollhouse for $100. Pros: - perfect size. Big enough for full dollhouse play, small enough to fit on a small child's table. - generally good construction, with only two downsides (see downsides) - easy assembly, except for final assembly of the roof, 2 people are needed to assemble the roof. lighter .- nice view. Pretty colors on the front without overdoing the pink purple overload "It's for Girls". - Lots of different furniture accessories are awesome and well designed. Disadvantages: - 1. Design flaw. Balconies border on the facade of the house. These bars are weak and often fall off. I will probably apply wood glue to the balconies to attach them. - The second design flaw. The stairs are unprotected. They sit well in place for the most part, but bump and fall out of position. Wood glue also solves this problem. Not big enough for a Barbie, but most dollhouses aren't made for Barbies, hence the popularity of the dream house. I have not called customer service for a replacement yet, so I cannot verify that service or process. I love the open living design concept so a room divider is not a deal breaker.
