Coat the gasket with SIL-Glyde
Use SIL-Glyde to lubricate the seal after it is installed on the valve. Both sides. This greatly improves your ability to both compress and rotate the valve in one movement. Take your time, be patient. Install the valve dry WITHOUT a gasket first to become familiar with the movements required for final installation.
