SETTING UP THE CLOCK AND CHIMES

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THIS MANTLE CLOCK BUT THE INSTRUCTION BOOK COULD BE BETTER. I TRIED TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AND ENDED UP HAVING TO JUST FIGURE HOW TO GET THE CHIMES AND TIME CORRECT ON MY OWN. I THINK ANOTHER LOOK AT THE SET UP PAPER MIGHT HELP YOU RE-DO THE INSTRUCTIONS AND MAKE IT SIMPLER FOR BUYERS LIKE ME. OTHERWISE I LIKE YOUR PRODUCT AND THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE

What!?! NO Chimes! - my new review

Will be returning. I ordered this specifically for the chimes. Instructions show how to set the chimes but the clock does not have the chime movement installed. I waited nearly a year (saving up $) before ordering this clock. Very, very disappointed.

A very nice clock - my new review

This clock is a beautiful addition to my home. I received an email from the supplier containing instructions one day prior to the clock being delivered. The instructions were simple to follow and I had no problems with the battery installation and the time setting. I have not found the chimes to be overly loud and in fact they are quite pleasing. The one fault (in my estimation) is that I only learned upon delivery that the clock was "Made in China". If I had been made aware of that…

Chimes do not work good for me

The chimes do not work despite following the directions. I emailed customer service a week ago but did not get a reply. I’m disappointed as I bought the clock for a wedding present.

Sometimes in life you have to face disappointment.

I ordered this clock to replace my broken mantle clock. I was so disappointed when it arrived and was broken(litterally nothing was together) when we opened the package. We had to return it. My daughter got me another clock from Revain and it looks and works great.

  • Chimes during the day, automatically doesn’t chime from 10pm - 5am. Keeps excellent time. Great clock!

Not terrible good for me

Looks great on my mantle. Not the easiest set up the chime, but I figured it out eventually. I don't love the chimes, they definitely sound recorded, and not the old authentic chimes. Overall, not terrible for the price.

VERY DISSAPPOINTED!

I loved the color and style but the first one I got did not chime at all. The replacement worked for I while but chimed throughout the night. I then turned it off a couple of days then changed the batteries. I then could not get the chime to sync with the time. After turning it off then back on t did not chime at all after that. I also have a feeling that another replacement even if it works OK to start with will eventually crap out down the road. Although it keeps good time I'm not spending…

Hard to assemble for my opinion

I already wrote a review. It was difficult to install the battery to for clock portion and put it back together. The clock is prone to breaking or falling over easily.

After trial and error, it works.

I did have some problem syncing the chime with the time, but after several tries, I got it to work. Couldn't find a zinc/carbon battery so I'm using a alkaline one. So far, it is working well and have had no further problems.

Vmarketingsite mantel clock

The clock is beautiful, although i wish that it was just slightly longer. I find that the light yellow/tan background makes it a bit difficult to read the time from a distance, but it's a small issue. I do not use the chime - it did not suit me, but i still like the clock.

Beautiful clock best in my review

This clock is a solid, beautiful piece. I gave it 4 stars, because it is NOT silent, as advertised, it makes a ticking sound. However, I like it so much, I am keeping it anyways.

Beautiful clock for my opinion

We put the clock on our mantle. It is as beautiful in person as it is on the site.It has chimes that are easy to understand and work . They stop at night time and sound very pretty when on.It came within 24 hours ! And it was in perfect shape when it came ! Very very well packaged , so I would highly recommend these people for a beautiful clock !

Good Value, but Documentation Needs Work

I like the clock but the sound quality isn't as good as the clock it replaced. I had difficulty setting the clock up. The seller was responsive in answering my questions, but the written manual (in pdf format) was not entirely accurate, and I had to do some figuring (trial and error) to finally get the clock time and chimes properly synchronized.
