I needed a combo sander for a specific wood project. I bought the 8" because there was a coupon at the time that made it a touch more expensive than the 6" model. It was well packaged and easy to assemble. But the tables aren't even close. The table for the belt is bent by several degrees down when looking at the belt in its vertical position. These boots are very lightweight and the fabric, while pretty, might puncture easily. I cannot say anything yet about durability or how they will perform on snow and ice, it is too early for that.
