Review on 🌾 Natural Rush Grass Storage Footstool by Oriental Furniture by Tara Laven

Just received. You get what you pay for, so to speak. I have looked at many of these footstools. It seemed like a good price. In general, he's pretty strong. But I wouldn't use it for anything other than resting my feet. The wood used for both the top and bottom of the chair is only 3/8 to 1/2 inch thick at best. I wouldn't put anything heavy in it either. It's well aligned and the lid feels pretty solid. However, as other reviewers have noted, it wobbles a little at just three feet. The packaging was very minimal; *very* thin styrofoam in a "Chinese" box (ie that cheap flimsy cardboard, as opposed to what we usually use in the US). They hope it won't be hit anywhere during transportation. The legs are not very good. Poorly stained/dyed. And they must have been dyed just before packing because parts of the foam packing stuck to the bottom of the legs. I'll polish them a bit, maybe even repaint them. Looks beautiful. The reeds look nice, although the inner lining (stitched together) is a little visible on the outside of the chair, all the way up through the reeds. Not something you'll notice right away. I bought two (2). There is no noticeable difference in color between them.
