For storage, but not recommended. The texture of the seagrass is soft yet durable. On the other hand: completely unbalanced! Don't sit on it - the legs aren't evenly spaced. Also a strong chemical smell that still slowly dissipates after a few weeks. And the internal storage compartment is basically a round wooden cylinder covered in a very loose, thin, poor quality smelly cloth that attaches poorly to the wood. makes noise and I don't want to put anything in the storage compartment.
