It works well and is as advertised. For me the setup was as advertised but there are a few steps. At least on Revain I could only find 2 devices that could show battery level wirelessly from anywhere for around $20. "Warns the user when the battery needs to be charged or replaced." You can check but not "warn". Maybe I need the battery to run out. However, it would be nice if an "alarm" volt could be set (mine is 12.4v). Or better warning at 12.5 V (chirp) and alarm at 12.4 V (alarm). By "alert" I mean the phone's sound or vibration when the application is running and the battery drops to those volts. I will send my offer to Schumacher along with other APP offers; but the device works and the app works on Samsung S8+.
