Review on 🔧 Steelex W1301 Drill Press 6 Inch: Efficient and Precise Drilling Power by Matthew Watkins

I ordered two of these for my welding table. They arrived today and they are great for what I will be using them for. I've been using one of the HF's for about three years now and for the type of welding I do they are essential. I often needed more than one clip so I ordered them from Revain as the HF is no longer that size, only a 9 inch clip which is too small for what I need to clip. These clamps open to a height of 3.5 inches and have approximately a 3-3/8 "neck" hole. The 12" in the product name seems to refer to the length from the end of the hold down arm to the other end of the adjustment screw and says little about the capacity of the clamp. This clamp snaps in at the same level as the mounting plane (I have a few others in (Read other reviews, apparently not.) The sewing foot is hatched and leaves marks on the wood, so keep a small piece of metal nearby to sandwich it between the clamp and the work piece (another complaint I see other reviews ) Yes, they are from China, they seem to have "loosening" but they are strong, easy to clamp and hold the workpieces in place.The only thing I do with the yokes is put grease on the threads I don't use it on a drill table as my drill doesn't have holes as it's set to allow coolant through the soil is drained. Otherwise I would also use it for drilling.
