Awesome range finder from Rainier Gear

Rainier Gear Sport & Hunting 1150 yard laser range finder is a great tool for working in the garden, fun on frequent trips and loaning it to our son, who can use it for his laying of pipes for garden work and military service. Our shipyard has property lines that were created many years ago. When it comes to planting trees/shrubs, laying pavers, or inspecting trees/hedges that need trimming or removal, the range finder gives me good indications of distance, width, and height. I can use linear distance mode for boundaries and multimode for tree heights (even marking lightning strike points on our very tall pines). In search of adventure, we like to visit lighthouses on the east coast of the United States. It's fun to measure the height of structures and the light angles of boats near shore. Our son can use the range finder to run pipes at a specific distance and determine the height and angle requirements for connecting pipes. He is in the Army National Guard and can use the device to determine the distances/heights/depths of targets on live firing ranges. The rangefinder can measure up to 1150 meters. The eyepiece is adjustable to focus with one eye and the metering information on the LCD is right in my field of view, very clear. I can also scan distances and angles between points (from tree to tree) and from the beginning to the end of a slope. I see this will be a good tool for golfers. This is a great product from Rainier Gear.
