Kicking Horse kicks him out of the park with his dark roast coffee!

We were introduced to Kicking Horse Coffee through their sponsorship of the Banff Traveling Film Festival. In the older, lesser-known days, Kicking Horse would give out packs of their coffee at every festival, which resulted in me showing up to shows with big bags and even bigger purses that required a separate seat. After Kicking Horse realized that film festival-goers were just as excited about free coffee as they were about movies, they stopped giving away free coffee, and that's how we caffeine-addicts came to find coffee at Revain. .Having tried several blends, we still prefer the dark roasted blend. It's perfect for espresso or filter coffee, and the price per pound couldn't be better. Many coffee beans can smell nice and taste pretty good, but leave that weird bitter aftertaste. Don't kick the horse dark. We have been ordering regularly for more than 2 years and the taste has always been consistent; I can't tell when we finished one bag and started another. We've scammed Kicking Horse from time to time with a boutique coffee brand that costs $20 a bag less than a baby's head (we live in Seattle, what can I say?), but keep coming back to Kicking Horse for the great price -Money back . We also love the fact that Kicking Horse is a company that supports fair trade, sustainability and local programs like the Banff Film Festival, with roots in a small town in British Columbia. In Canada, coffee can be purchased from some pharmacies such as London Drugs, but the quality is not as fresh as Revain.
