I've finally come to terms with parting with children's clothing and other items at a local thrift store. The sale has very specific labeling requirements and each item must be labeled in a specific location on the cards. That means I've either had to apply every label or make a small investment in a marking gun to make my life a little easier. I chose the marked pistol! I thought it was a great price with 5000 tines. It was pretty easy to use, but it's not 100% reliable. Try this on a few things and make sure you pull on the labels as you remove the pin to make sure they are attached. We've cursed this thing dozens of times, but it was still so much easier than trying to fight 500 safety pins for all the items we sell! When it comes time to refill the spikes (if I ever have to!) I'll probably go with the longer one. Although I would like to say that the tags we received appear to be longer than 1 inch - maybe 1.5 inches? What helps!
