I purchased the kit to replace another manufacturer's Sylvania LED low and high beam kit for my 2008 Element SC. They are MUCH lighter than others I've had. Small fans turn on almost immediately because they heat up very quickly. For your information. Older Sylvania 9005 high beam bulbs (and others I think) have much larger locking lugs. They are very small in comparison to them so don't worry as I think you bought the wrong size. Just think of the angle at which you pulled out the old lightbulbs. The wire for them is in the same place where you connect a regular light bulb (below) for reference. A little push and twist and they go straight in.
