Alla Lighting Headlights Conversion Upgrade Review

A quality product that actually works very well. I used proprietary silicone grease on the connectors to protect them from moisture/salt water. I also used nylon ties to keep the connectors and ballast from dangling. In general I am quite satisfied. My 2020 Honda CR-V now has LED low and high beam headlights!

Maybe too bright? Maybe. These are insanely powerful lights that light up the night like it's day. They can be too bright. Many oncoming drivers glare at me and think I have my headlights on, when I don't. I'm very happy with these headlights, but if I had to rebuild them I would most likely get bulbs that put out 5000 lumens each to protect other drivers' eyes.

I purchased the kit to replace another manufacturer's Sylvania LED low and high beam kit for my 2008 Element SC. They are MUCH lighter than others I've had. Small fans turn on almost immediately because they heat up very quickly. For your information. Older Sylvania 9005 high beam bulbs (and others I think) have much larger locking lugs. Installed on a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Bighorn. OEM halogen bulbs replaced (low beam and high beam). Lighting and light patterns, no need to upgrade headlight assembly to projection headlights. The low beams are bright enough and spaced enough that you really don't need to use high beams unless you really want to turn night into day. I have already bought Alla LED bulbs for my 2008 Ford Expedition. Those lights are still burning a year later. After reading other reviews of other Alla headlights I chose these for our 2016 Buick Encore because the bulbs on this car are behind plastic covers that screw into the back of the headlight housing.
