Review on πŸ”₯ Effortless Fire Starting: Epiphany Outdoor Gear Bellows Fire Starting Kit by Jason Richardson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great innovation! This is important when making fires outdoors.

Great little kit: great performance, light weight, reasonable price, good quality. The bellows are very well made, durable and work great. (Works well for log fires too, but is a bit off for that use.) Buy, wear, use! Worst Bees tinder fuses work very well. Compact, waterproof, fast acting, hot. But be sure to break them up into small, fluffy balls before trying to light them up. In contrast, cotton balls soaked in petroleum jelly (like petroleum jelly) are also compact, waterproof, ignite quickly, burn and last longer (all if you separate them into fluffy balls), and can be made cheaply at home, but your hands get greasy with it of handling. Baddest Bees appear to be waxed so they're not greasy and more compact than cotton balls (but don't burn as long). You choose. Refractory steel is a fairly common product. It has a nice, ergonomic plastic handle. It's a bit short, but it's a compact kit. You can easily get longer ones if you wish. The fireproof steel firing pin has teeth on the short end. I didn't feel comfortable using the end, but it hits the long edge easily.
