Network infrastructure: Verizon FiOS is running, due to the structure of our house I have a router and 2 network extenders. All Sonos devices connect to the router via WiFi. Sonos Hardware: One Play5One Playbar Problem: I couldn't access my Sonos hardware all the time through the app around the house. For example, it could be 5 feet from the Playbar and the iPhone app won't see it, but will find the Play5 10 feet away. An iPad app can find both at the same time. After 24 hours, iPad can find Playbar but not Play5, and iPhone can't find either. The day after, a very different mix of what was there and what wasn't. Resetting the app, router, etc. doesn't fix the problem for long. It is clear that the combination of routers and replicators played a role. Solution: Out of frustration, I decided to try Boost. Perfection! For the past 7 days, the apps on my iPhone and iPad have found both players without any problems, no matter where I am in the house.
