Great addition to my Sonos system

I was ready to return my original Sonos system. I had all sorts of problems with audio dropping out of the rear speakers and subwoofer. I ended up buying BOOST and it made a huge difference. Everything works as expected and the quality of the whole system is incredible. If you have many barriers in your home that can affect the quality of your wireless signal, buy this product. I've found that the "extenders" used in many wireless products just don't work well with Sonos. Just get this product…

BEST SONOS UPDATE!

My Sonos Bridge died after 14 years of use. I called Sonos and they explained how to update my software to fix the bridge and get the system working over Wi-Fi. Unfortunately my Sonos controllers didn't work so I bought the Boost. What a great product. My entire Sonos system now responds instantly to any command from any room. Over the course of 14 years, I've learned to tolerate a slight lag in the system when entering commands. This product fixes that problem. I would recommend this to anyone

Inconsistent application connections finally resolved

Network infrastructure: Verizon FiOS is running, due to the structure of our house I have a router and 2 network extenders. All Sonos devices connect to the router via WiFi. Sonos Hardware: One Play5One Playbar Problem: I couldn't access my Sonos hardware all the time through the app around the house. For example, it could be 5 feet from the Playbar and the iPhone app won't see it, but will find the Play5 10 feet away. An iPad app can find both at the same time. After 24 hours, iPad can find…

Updated rating. - Wireless and Streaming Audio

Sonos has the best speakers, but their customer service sucks! We have three speakers and a soundbar, which worked great in the old house. In a new house, speakers just disappear. Sometimes when they played music. I was told that we need support as the new house is a bit bigger. After installing the boost, the same problem appeared. Every great product has problems sometimes, but when we tried calling support to fix the problem we never got through. They say to search their FAQs online but…

Cutting problem not solved

We love the sound of our Sonos when they're working. If you only have two speakers or you can only set up a home theater system, everything is fine. However, if you want multiple speakers in multiple rooms, you risk spending thousands on a setup just to have the speakers mute in the middle of your favorite song. This started when we added additional speakers to the system. Sonos sells this amp as a $100 fix, good if it works. But it's not for us. It does not matter. Customer support's solution…

It worked! - Wireless audio receivers and adapters

I have had a Sonos 6 Play 1 system and bridge for several years. It always sounded amazing and worked flawlessly. A few months ago I agreed to be a Sonos beta tester for their new Sonos/Alexa integration. Wow what a mistake! Since my first download of the beta software I have encountered a very unstable system that tends to disconnect the speakers from the system. For no apparent reason, they may or may not reunite. My awesome system has turned into an annoying, hard to use, frustrating mess! I

Within minutes of installing Sonos Boost, I solved a major problem with my Sonos installation. Sonos was unable to work wirelessly with the My Netgear AC1900 router in extender mode. I ran a 45 foot ethernet cable from the router in the office to the Sonos Beam in the living room. Boost solved the problem immediately. Hung Boost next to the router in the office. See my photo. And I just connected his short Ethernet cable from Boost to my Wi-Fi extender. Then I follow the instructions in the…
