We love the sound of our Sonos when they're working. If you only have two speakers or you can only set up a home theater system, everything is fine. However, if you want multiple speakers in multiple rooms, you risk spending thousands on a setup just to have the speakers mute in the middle of your favorite song. This started when we added additional speakers to the system. Sonos sells this amp as a $100 fix, good if it works. But it's not for us. It does not matter. Customer support's solution was to "unplug and reset all speakers every 30 days," no joke. Tried that, still doesn't work. We live on 1100 sqm. Foot, so distance doesn't matter here. Maybe all the people in our building and their wireless routers are interfering? I have a feeling that many of the people who would be interested in these speakers are in the same boat. If there was a suitable Sonos wireless alternative I would sell/return all my speakers, how annoying.
