Wouldn't fit me

I used two tripods and really wanted this tripod to work for the studio, something smaller. When we open the box and the pieces fall on the floor, it's frustrating that you have to put them back together. So I put it back together, everything seems fine now. I put the Sony FS700 on the slider and tried it out. No matter how hard you twist that piece of plastic to stabilize it, the rail still goes enough where I wouldn't fit. The ad says you don't need to adjust the voltage, I found the opposite to be the case. Seems like for $82 they could use metal threads instead of plastic threads that will fail over time. Maybe I just misunderstood. In 2017 I saw it for sale in China for around $18.
