Review on πŸŽ’ Ultimate Gootium 21101AMG Backpack Rucksack: Unparalleled Performance and Style by Randy Montiel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Brings out my inner Indiana Jones

I've had several travel backpacks and most have been fully functional and fairly durable, but this one is a little different. First, it's a backpack. One large drawstring bag and three side pockets. It took a little getting used to multi-compartment "travel/bookbag" backpacks, but now that I have them it's really the only way out. The material is a thick canvas and I like it. Throwing your backpack under seats on planes and trains takes its toll on fancy top-end backpacks, but it should last a very long time. Unlike most packs, it has no structure and just clumps together when empty, making the pack more of a treat, but definitely not a deal breaker. The buckles on them are purely cosmetic, and the actual closures are buttons that close the pockets fairly securely. Tuck the side pocket flaps into the pockets and they make great water bottle holders. They are quite large and deep so a good sized bottle will fit inside. I'm small but it has more than enough space for everything I normally carry, including a fleece sweater and packable vest, as well as all the little things you need when traveling around Europe. The retro style is very cool and eye-catching. In fact, I had a gentleman who seriously asked me if I was an archaeologist. All in all a solid five.

Pros
  • Drawstring Bag
Cons
  • Vulgarity
