Makes me happy every time I use it

If you're like me you're thinking "XX dollars for a book lamp? You're joking!” I thought too. I have bought the cheaper versions of this product but let me tell you why you shouldn't: 1) The cheaper versions require batteries. Batteries are not cheap. I say the batteries cost the same (or more) as the whole flashlight. It's annoying and wasteful. Not this little guy; I read at least 30 minutes before bed every night (in the lowest possible light) and the charge lasts for weeks. This lets me travel without another charger (but it uses a standard micro-USB charger, so even if you need to charge it, chances are one of your other devices has a charger that's compatible with this baddie). 2) He remains circumcised. to your book and doesn't fall wildly while trying to read, requiring you to reason with both the book and the light. I'm aware that this is a first world problem, but I'm grateful that I don't have to try to solve it. 3) If you bend it at a certain angle, it stays there. As it should. If you don't find it worth mentioning, it's because you've never had a cheap book lamp before. 4) They come in different colors! Trust me I love black and gray and I usually always go for that option, but when you can get it in color (I have green) it's so easy to find by tossing it in your bag. 5) It is dimmable. Just press the power button once to turn it on and hold to dim it. Not the most intuitive, but it eliminates the need for extra buttons, and I've come to the conclusion that each extra button is just another problem waiting to be solved. 6) It looks well made. Because it's all one piece (except for the clip) and the plastic feels like rubber, you can drop it and it won't shatter into a million pieces of plastic at your feet. I wouldn't drop it anyway, but some of us are clumsier than others and it's a matter of time, not if. In a world where everything seems to be constantly breaking (don't even make me try to find a repairman; that's the only thing Revain doesn't sell), it's so nice to have something that I can rely on and that works great every time I use it. This makes me even more excited to read before going to bed, which I would not have thought possible before this product. TLDR: This little thing brings me a lot more joy than any product deserves. Buy it, you won't regret it.
