I love the powerful light design. The book light I used was a problem for me because the design made my arm dangle. The powerful light is built in such a way that the hand is stable. However, this special light was not strong enough for me and the effective range of the light was too narrow. I sent this lantern back and ordered it in the same style but with a much brighter light and wider coverage.

Excellent little flashlight book with one caveat being that it's quite small and doesn't reach very far in the hand. Therefore, even in the brightness, it cannot cover the largest book. I bought one for my wife and my daughter wanted one and bought it for me. The clip is attached to the cover of the book and the arm is bent over the book. The clip has a micro USB port for charging. The charging process takes several hours. It's actually small enough to be used as a flashlight.

I love everything about this little item that comes in handy when traveling and before bed. My only suggestion is that the base should be a bit wider - my husband had an earlier version that had a larger base for the batteries. Charging is quick and easy with my new light, and I think a slightly larger base would mean it would be more durable when attached to the book. Light and bright book lights are hard to find. I love adjustable brightness! But my favorite feature is that it's rechargeable. I don't have to worry about my little ones finding dangerous button cell batteries inside (and I don't have the recurring expense of buying new batteries!). Light enough to buy twice. Neck flexibility is excellent. It was nice not having to change batteries. The light is bright but not too bright so as not to disturb other people's sleep. If you're like me you're thinking "XX dollars for a book lamp? You're joking!” I thought too. I have bought the cheaper versions of this product but let me tell you why you shouldn't: 1) The cheaper versions require batteries. Batteries are not cheap.
