So when I ordered these Revane told me they often come with Command Velcro strips. So I ordered them too. Upon arrival, the shelves came with no instructions. There are also NO listing instructions for Revain. I made some reasonable guesses (or so I thought) and attached the Command Planks to the mounting brackets, glued them in place, hung the shelves on the brackets, and filled them in. During the night all the shelves fell over. I assumed it was velcro. Style Command Stripe. I thought that the weight (which was small) of what I put on the shelves ripped the strips. So I ordered REGULAR Command Strips. Tried these today. Brackets for shelves came off almost immediately. I went online and submitted a return for those horrible shelves. Then I saw something. you can buy replacement hanging brackets - no instructions either, but I looked at them again. You have a crust on your back! The whole mount sticks to the wall/surface. I feel like a little idiot. Now I've hung the brackets and I'm hoping the shelves won't fall off again. However, I have no idea if these mounts can be easily removed from the surface I mounted them on if I decide to remove them in the future. Realizing that people were probably using the control strips instead of the brackets that came with the shelves and just attached the control strips directly to the shelves and wall, eliminating the bracket. multiple deliveries from Revain and damage to my new custom made table all of which could have been avoided if these shelves had come with INSTRUCTIONS!
