Costs money! good for pest control

This is a great fly mask. I have a roan with a white nose. He burns terribly. This mask not only protects the flies from his eyes and ears, but also his nose from the sun. The mask fits well and he's really coming back to the stable with it. Good quality and price. I bought a second one for my other horse!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No instructions

Poor packaging causes problems

I wanted to like it. Looks good, materials feel lighter than a standard fly mask. good colors The problem lies in the packaging. It comes in a small vacuum bag so it is very deformed especially with the mesh over the eyes so it stung my 2 year old right in the eyes. I had to delete it immediately and start a return.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Expandable

Exceeded my expectations

My horse and I love this fly mask. I've washed it a few times to get rid of the spitting snot lol and it's holding up great. It's easy to put on and take off, and she's a good horse so don't try to rip it off. The colored part of the mask is soft and durable. The eyes are sewn on to keep them off her face. I'll get myself a second one.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Nothing

They seemed great until put on horse as there is no hole for forelock so my horse had strong ones Eye irritation where I had to call the vet. It doesn't protrude far enough from the horse's eye area and the forelock will be pushed against the eyes, especially if you have a horse with a long forehead.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Frequency

Good pest control fly mask

Mostly satisfied with the mask. Two things I really liked was that the nose was quite long so horses sneezing, eating, drinking or running their noses over the ground foraging ruined them a lot. Another thing is that the sun damaged the grille more than I thought. So they don't know how much protection they've been given. It's also very good for my horse.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • not reliable

I bought 3 of these fly masks this summer. 2 holds up better than this one. I bought it last time and only used it 2-3 times. His ears are already pierced and his nose is tearing. It has worked well for other horses as a sunscreen, I don't know because this horse falters during the day. Very disappointed that it didn't last long.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different

Unsuccessful Purchase: Masks

My horses couldn't even last 12 hours in them before they took off from each other. The processing of the Velcro is a joke. Horses are very easy to unbuckle. Cheaply made and sitting too close to the eyes, the big horse is clearly made for the harness. If you're ordering something that I don't recommend, buy the Cobb size if you have a regular sized horse. Very disappointed I spent more money on the smaller size and they still don't work for us. I think it's time to try another brand.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket

No more fly masks Keep-A-Way!

My Champagne Sabino nude mare needs a long nosed fly mask for three seasons (Florida) due to sunburn. I've had to make time every day for over 15 years to do the fly mask dance for about ten minutes (unless I tie her up while she eats her breakfast). She didn't like everyone. Lonely. fly mask. I put it on her face. Until now. Can't say she LOVES wearing it but for the first time she doesn't run away from me and turn into a giraffe when I try to put it on her. She's not too excited about the…

Great masks! suitable for masks

I bought two of these for my two horses. The gelding in the foreground is wearing a standard horse-sized halter, while the mare in the background is between a small and regular halter. Both are plus size and the masks have a long velcro strap to adjust to their head size which is nice! Also, all my horses (4) are able to take off fly masks. Usually they are removed in a day, if not sooner. This will keep them for two weeks! Sure, I check them every day to make sure there are no bruises, but I…
