I bought two of these for my two horses. The gelding in the foreground is wearing a standard horse-sized halter, while the mare in the background is between a small and regular halter. Both are plus size and the masks have a long velcro strap to adjust to their head size which is nice! Also, all my horses (4) are able to take off fly masks. Usually they are removed in a day, if not sooner. This will keep them for two weeks! Sure, I check them every day to make sure there are no bruises, but I didn't have to take my masks off to do that; Just run your hands around the edges of the mask. They are well padded where it counts. The mesh is fine but also gives the horses good vision and the shape keeps the mask of their eyes. I also appreciate the long nose as both have pink noses and protect them from sunburn.
