I bought this light to convert my cargo trailer. 3 of the 8 pieces broke during installation. Soldered wire is very fragile. A slight tug or twist will cause them to loosen. It wouldn't be too much of a problem if there was a way to open it up and re-solder it. The light itself is very bright. The beam isn't too wide, so it's great for illuminating cabinets or countertops. I have used them for lighting above the bed and countertop and in the shower. I couldn't request a refund or replacement because the return period had expired when I tried to install it.
