I love playing in the snow, but I have always had problems with the sleeves of my gloves being so short that snow gets up in them and eventually freezes my arm. I also have had most of my gloves not actually be water proof and eventually falter. However, these work charms. The extra long sleeves keep the snow away from my wrists and they are truly waterproof. I played in the snow for hours and didn't get a single damp part in my gloves. I absolutely love these. The only change I would make is smaller sizes and the way to tighten them on the very end of the sleeve is a bit difficult. Other than that, they are great. I bought 2 pairs.
