Moen, hire someone to redesign the plumbing system because it sucks! Alternatively, you can go back to the old Butterfly system, which was the easiest way to install/reinstall. I installed the ring in my half-bath, after the 18" towel rail in the master bathroom (read the review). I knew I only had one chance to get it right because once the plastic clip was in, it was almost impossible to remove. Well, I ran into a completely different problem. The single screw system is not designed for wooden partitions. After I installed it, the screw would not hold. Luckily the back wall is accessible from my kitchen. I had to go around the fridge and other appliances, but I managed to get to the back of the screw in the wall. A little creativity and a good portion of cement later and everything is firmly in place and holds the towel. What should have been a 30 minute job (two towel racks) turned into a mayor's day job and a huge mess. Although I had the opportunity to clean up behind my fridge. Let's hope the quality is still there because I'm not waiting to install another one
