I may have been lucky, but my experience with this ESR screen protector was "almost perfect". Following the installation instructions, I removed the layer of trash from the ESR. liner (to reveal the adhesive layer), align the liner according to the placement guide that came with it (e.g. a photo frame around my iPad) and lower the liner. Immediately, without any action on my part, it started sticking in the middle and started sticking from the left side on my iPad's screen. There was a blister on the right side (I said "almost perfect"). So I used a lint free cleaning cloth to press the vial against the right side and in less than a minute the entire screen protector was in place and sticking evenly to the entire iPad screen. Now everything was perfect! (I tried to take a picture of my iPad's screen to show how perfect the app is, but it's so perfect that everything you see on my iPad's screen when it's off is a reflection of the things in my room.!) The amazing part of this procedure is that unlike competing products I tried a few days earlier (ZAGG and SPARIN), there was NO STATIC ELECTRIC VOLTAGE that drew dust particles to the adhesive side of this screen protector ! I'll say it again, with this ESR product there was no static electricity causing airborne dust particles to get stuck between the screen protector and the iPad screen. End result: The bond is now free of bubbles and dust. -free. And if you encounter any problems, there is a second ESR screen protector in the package in case you need to try again. But I didn't need it. I highly recommend this ESR screen protector.
