I was so excited to get this as I'm a Google/Android enthusiast and was in the market for a reliable 2-in-1. However, after 2 days I return it. Multiple freezes, stuttering during video playback, poorly optimized Android apps, etc. and it comes back. I can't imagine Google coming out with this thing with such poorly tested software. Maybe it will get better after a few updates, but after paying $1000 for it I can't justify patiently waiting for it to get better. I've only used it as a tablet and other reviewers say it works better in laptop mode. It's all well and good, but I need it to function as a tablet first. The hardware is beautiful. Can't say much negative about the screen, sound, looks, speed, etc. Chrome OS just isn't ready for a tablet. Let's go back to Google's drawing board. It looks like an iPad Pro or Surface Pro to me. Update: I've decided to let it go and give it a little more time. Have a keyboard and a pen. It is much more functional to use it in laptop mode. I would say that for me it can replace my laptop. I find the keyboard very functional. Most of my complaints relate to tablet use, and the Android environment is simply not optimized for this device. I gave it an extra star. This thing has potential, but it still needs a lot of software improvements.
