I've only had this camera for a day so this is based on first impressions but this camera is really good. It's pretty amazing what he can do for money, it's almost unbelievable. I bought two of these as part of a larger system I'm building but so far I'm very impressed with this unit. I decided to install this just to keep an eye on my house until I can install a DVR and other cameras. This camera can work standalone without DVR and for a small apartment or house it might be all you need for some. Calm down and take care of your pets. It can record to SD card (Max 64GB) or Essee Cloud. The picture quality is really good and the night vision is excellent. Setup was pretty easy, but I struggled for a while because I left a space after my router's password and it wouldn't connect. Make sure you don't leave a space after your password haha. Realizing my mistake, it connected and was ready to go. This camera is quite small. You can install it almost anywhere there is an outlet. It's also very mobile, you can just move them around as you see fit and experiment where you get the best coverage. The PTZ works well, although it's fairly sensitive and takes a bit of practice to control, but it gets the job done and is fairly quick. The camera itself doesn't have a zoom, but you can zoom in with your thumb and finger like my smartphone and it works really well. You're not tied to one observation spot, instead you can look around and really see what's going on. The Wi-Fi range is very impressive, I put this camera about 90 feet from my modem and it goes through a couple of walls to get there. My house is large, so for a medium-sized house, getting a good signal almost anywhere shouldn't be a problem. I'll experiment with this to see how far it can go, but the camera is on the opposite side of the house from the modem and works great. If I have any complaints, the power cord could be longer, but it should be fine for most uses. I'm so happy that I can now monitor my home while I'm at work or anywhere else with cell coverage. I think you can't go wrong with these cameras. If you have a naughty pet, you can talk to him too. Or an evil robber. This camera will take a clear picture of them and you will know they are there. You can also eavesdrop, but at least in my case the camera seemed pretty loud, but you'll be able to tell if there's an alarm or if someone is breaking in through your door. I'm still experimenting with motion detection, people tracking, and advanced features, so I can't comment on how well they work. It will also be interesting to see if the camera holds up, but first of all wow. $39 well spent. Very happy.
